Is anybody else watching Human Planet? I am crazy about this show. It's all about how different groups of people survive in different types of environments. I am, however, a little disappointed that they've yet to use the word culture. I mean, this is anthropology, and this is probably the most attention it's ever gotten in the popular media, but no one is calling it anthropology. Major bummer.

I was driving through the woods in the middle of nowhere yesterday, and I saw a slide on a platform in the middle of a cedar lake, and it made me want to swim. I am going to be all over that shit in a couple months. I can't wait.
